BLOOMING GROVE — A 22-year-old Blooming Grove parolee is facing child pornography charges after a search warrant allowed police to conduct a forensic examination of his laptop computer, says Detective Brett Weeden of the Blooming Grove Police Department. Nicholas R. Strohl was arrested Jan. 1 and charged with promoting child pornography, a felony, after a joint investigation by the Orange County Probation Department and Blooming Grove Police. He is being held in Orange County Jail without bail. |

Jan 03 2010 15:36:34 Incomplete reporting once again from THR. What is he on parole for?
I checked the sex offender registry for Blooming Grove, which he is not listed in. Also checked the NYS registry, which does not list Level 1 offenders. I guess the state doesn't feel that level one offenses are bad enough for them to assist us in becoming aware of whether or not they live near us. |
